Experience Panaad Festival: The Artistry of Negrense

Dubbed as the “land of sweet surprises”, the province of Negros Occidental stretches 7,926 square kilometers and is one of the two provinces of Negros Island Region in the Visayas. It is sliced into 19 municipalities, 12 component cities and one highly urbanized city.

The province has diverse culture and industries, although sugar industry is seemingly the flag bearer which made the province famous.

The month of April every year marks the gathering of all Negrense to celebrate. The annual festival known as the Panaad sa Negros or simply as Panaad is the best venue for one to experience the sweet surprises of Negros Occidental. All LGUs showcase their unique artistry and products at Panaad Grounds and Stadium, Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City.
